ABOUT US

OUR VISION

Our vision is to provide amazing experiences for youth in a loving, supportive, fun, and inspiring environment. We want to “welcome little children” (Mark 9:37), and to help them see and experience God’s love-in-action. We seek to provide an inclusive and welcoming place “where you belong”, and to have a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of our campers and guests.  In short, our vision is to love people (kids, and all our neighbors).

OUR CORE VALUES

Love

A love for kids, God, each other, horses, and nature and the desire to help inspire young people shines through in all our staff members. “Loving others as ourselves”, as Jesus taught, is our most important value and guides everything we do.

Hospitality

We treat youth and all our guests with dignity, value and respect and will show them amazing ranch hospitality. We strive to make all kids and guests feel welcome and create a place, “where you belong”.

Excellence

Best staff, best programs, best facility.  We aim high to serve you with excellence in all we do:  from the leadership qualities, kindness and care of our staff, the quality of our programs, the quality, cleanliness and safety of our facility, the “fun-factor” and breadth of our activities, the quality of our food, our attention to detail, and so on.  We don’t cut corners. “Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain.”(1 Cor 15:58).

Fun

Camp is all about fun, and we want our guests to experience fun, laughter, and the joy of life so we dial up the fun factor to 10, in everything we do.

MORE ABOUT US

People tell us that some of their best childhood memories come from their years as a camper at Snider Mountain Ranch.

Matt White
Assistant Director

Matt comes from Nova Scotia but has spent the better part of the last 30 years in beautiful N.B. The majority of his experience consists of pastoral leadership and a love for missions with an educational foundation of Theological studies. He is a husband and father and more recently a grandfather. Snider Mountain Ranch brought Matt and his family here from Fredericton 12 years ago to provide support during a transitional time. All of his children have volunteered and worked at the Ranch over these years and in many ways things have come full circle as Matt is now the Assistant Director.

Olivia Noack
Horsemanship Director

Olivia brings with her years of experience working as the Horsemanship Coordinator at Circle Square Ranch Grand River in Ontario. She grew up in Hamilton, Ontario and joined the SMR team in November 2023. She has been preparing our horses, old and new, for upcoming weekend camps and a busy summer ahead! If Olivia’s not in the barn, or riding in the arena you might find her doing some baking in the kitchen, or looking after her cat Meatball, who is enjoying life in the barn.

She is gifted in hospitality, and makes each guest and staff member feel warmly welcomed.
