ADULT HORSEMANSHIP WEEKEND

Stay at the Ranch for a weekend, and get an introduction to horsemanship and ranch life! Stay in our private guest rooms (with shared bathrooms), enjoy delicious home-made meals and enjoy Ranching with us.

October 1-3, 2021

$295 per person

This weekend is designed for adults who are interested in learning more about horses. Whether you have been considering getting into equine activities, would like to brush up your skills, or have never ridden before, this weekend is for you. You will be matched with your own Ranch horse. As you work with this horse, we will instruct you in recognizing how a horse communicates and in how to direct and respond to your horse. You will apply these concepts and create a bond with your horse through on-the-ground, in-hand exercises. You will progress to in-the-saddle exercises, learning the basics of riding like mounting, turning, stopping, etc. You will also learn the basics of grooming, feeding, tacking and caring for your horse.

Our enthusiastic and caring horsemanship instructors are excited to welcome you to the Ranch and will have fun sharing their horsemanship knowledge with you!

*To sign up click the "book" button above. There will be some camper related questions as we are using our summer camp booking system. You can leave those questions blank.
